• Will my essay be published on the site?

  Yes! If your essay passes our review process, we'll publish it on the site and email you the link. It'll be available free of charge for anyone to read and admire.

• How many essays can I submit?

  As many as you'd like! The more, the better. Just submit each essay separately using the button above.

• Will my essays be anonymous? What about personal details in my essay?

  We'll automatically hide any personally identifiable information in your essay, such as your name, high school, cities, organizations/clubs, dates, etc.

  You can choose to submit your essay anonymously (100% confidential), or you can add your name, social media handles, or a short bio to get credit for your work. It's up to you!

• Do colleges care? Will I face any repercussions for doing this?

  No. Colleges don't care. In fact, many colleges publish their own collections of essays from admitted students.

  We've never had a single case of a student facing repercussions for sharing their essays. If you're concerned, you can always submit your essay anonymously.

• What about plagiarism? I don't want anyone to steal my essay.

  We partner with Turnitin, the leading plagiarism detection software used by colleges and universities and give them access to our database of essays.

  This means that anyone who tries to copy your essay will be immediately caught and flagged by Turnitin, resulting in a rejection from colleges.

  TLDR; If your essays are plagiarized (unlikely), you will face no repercussions.

• What if I change my mind?
